Calling all the Ladies...

I get it ... I'm a woman! I understand because I say the exact same thing..... "I'm not photogenic" or "After I lose some weight" or "I'm too old"....... I'm here to tell you .... YOU are WRONG!

Ya I said it and I am here to tell myself I am wrong! I am not chasing down models .... I am showing you ... YOU! These women below are stop in your tracks HOT ladies..... beautiful mothers.... women whom have given me this smidgen of time in their life to show them how I as well as much of the world sees them. For real ladies our own eyes on ourselves ... wrong... cloudy...judgemental..... they lie! lol .... I've been photographed as well..... said it to my photographer "uhm ya so don't expect much no model here" really was that the tone I just set? wow.... shocked and disappointed in myself for uttering such words. 

Everyone comes to me nervous..... completely normal.... you are about to turn over all your insecurities to someone you don't know...... I see it in your face ... especially when I ask certain things of you.... but what comes after.... seriously is breathtaking! Suddenly those nerves fall off your shoulders.... you get a lil more comfortable and a lil more daring...... and I stop for a moment just to witness it! It's not a magic wand... photoshop trick or the atmosphere.... it's YOU! Just you in all your glorious beauty.... you without the insecurities.... you just being you!

Cease The Moment

While I patiently wait for my new blog and site that I had thought would have been done by now..... I am re-opening this old blog until I switch over!

I've missed blogging and I know my wedding family has as well...... so here goes... a whole lotta weddings coming at you!!! You all deserve to have a blog!

This was a styled shoot with young Miss.L .... model in the making perhaps..... I can't express enough the love I receive from clients after these shoots..... girls, young women and women all have this new confidence and I am so fortunate to be able to be a part of them! You are never too young... too old... too anything..... cease the moment!

congratulations to this fabulous couple.....
I met Lisa last fall at her office here in Milton.... her captivating smile was so warm and inviting I knew I wanted to be a part of her day! Usually I meet with couples well in advance for their engagement sessions.... but with busy schedules we completed the session just recently and that's when I met Gary! I am gonna go out on a limb and say he probably works out.... ;) just a small joke.... he knows I like him! I just loved their energy ..... seriously full of life and positivity... the type you want to soak up!
Engagement session went well and then came the big day!
Lisa is that calm bride.... organized and calm.... she knew what she wanted out of her day and it went all too well! I loved the relaxed atmosphere.... the smiles and warmth of their home! Met Gary at the hotel for some prep and guys pics... Now if only I could have convinced them to climb a tower!
A beautiful outdoor ceremony and then we were off for photos. AND here it is.... the TRUST factor.... I have said it a thousand times.... I LOVE when couples trust me! But I can tell you what I love even more having just experienced it...... Lisa's confidence in me... every set up she was in it and energetic about it... seriously it was awesome!!! No I don't need every couple to be this way but when they are excited in the moment with what you are doing.... thats the moment I live for!
The reception followed.... with beautiful speeches and a room filled with great people..... I am certain they had an awesome time!
