...... please meet Laura & Amin...... a most fabulous couple I had the pleasure to spend some time with this past weekend!

AND .... we had SNOW!!!! Sweet..... made for a great session!

I love this part of the wedding process..... meeting couples and learning all about them...... and while Amin likes to hide behind his gorgeous fiance..... we managed to get him out in centre for a few! 

I love couples like these two, who completely embrace the experience...... Laura you couldn't have been more delightful..... so looking forward to capturing your day in April!

It's the middle of the winter...... and with this cold it seems like it may never end......
With these cold months where I am stuck indoors.... now is the time I plan for the rest of my year.... the website has been updated www.rebeccalozer.com  the blog had a bit of a face lift and new, exciting plans as well as opportunities are happening! I'm looking forward to jumping in with both feet this year!

And what about the resolutions.... goals and thoughts for the year...... have you all kept on track?
It's not easy we put so much pressure on ourselves to lose weight, get in shape, set goals and expectations high.... quit smoking... stop drinking coffee etc etc the list just goes on and on. Goals are great.... accomplishing something is so rewarding...... but when the goals are so big that they take up the better part of the year.... then what about that moment where the end of January rolls around and the momentum slows....... instead of staring down that dreaded timeline... just take one day at a time!  today  I will drink those 8 glasses of water... today I will give my time openly to someone else.... today I will listen to those around me without judgement and with patience.... today I will resist the temptation of that dam cookie...... you only need to start with one day...... the rest will just follow and be that less scary!

 ..... tis the season for engagement sessions....... and there are an abundance of them!
added side note.... we are so very busy and looks as though I forgot to hit the publish button.... so here is a long overdue blog!!!!

this fabulous couple is next on the blog........ with her beauty and grace .... she is truly a delight to be around....... a contagious smile and probably one of my friendliest brides!!! And although I wanted to call him Andy all through our session lol.... I didn't..... very polite and charming.....Frank held on tight to the ever so lovely Diana..............we managed to pull off a great session in downtown Milton..... love to shoot in my stomping grounds! And while it will be some time before I get to hang with these two..... I am Sooooooooo looking forward to their June wedding...... we will have a ton of fun!!!!!

Meet Mr. & Mrs. Dolan........

So as with all couples there is always a story....... I met Lisa & Steve at a Starbucks to chat with them about their day..... it was rather amusing when we realized we were at different tables waiting for each other...... a nice giggle was shared!
I knew from the moment we met .... the body language between them said it all... these two are meant to last!!!
As I recently shared their wedding day with them I sat at my computer to look through their images.... my daughter was sitting looking at them too..... she turned to me and said "he really loves her"... a statement I couldn't agree more with!
The day started with Lisa..... she was giddy with excitement and could not have looked more beautiful!!! Every part of the process was sheer joy..... I don't think I will ever forget her pure excitement!
Steve.... was cool calm and collected.... not an ounce of sweat no nerves and just the complete look of confidence in his eyes! I swear they could write a fairy tale about these two!
From prep to first look and the walk down the aisle.... photos and then a gorgeous reception at The Cellar in Georgetown.... if you have not been .... please run there.... phenominal place and food to die for!!!!!
