Back in November.... lol I can say that now because it's fabulous December.... I love December... I love snow.... christmas and everything about the holiday season! I'm not at all prepared ..... BUT I'm still singing my songs and enjoying every day! Happy Holidays everyone..... be happy and stay safe!
.... back to this blog...... back in November I had the privilege to be a part of Katy & Parker's wedding..... this fabulous couple had it all planned out and let me just say I loved it..... every part!! Toronto was the setting for this wicked event.... complete with a suite at the Gladstone Hotel..... this is where the reception was held as well..... The roof top of City Hall and Osgoode Hall were our backdrops for photos..... love love love..... I'm by no means a city girl... but I sooo appreciate it's beauty and everything it has to offer! So as with all weddings there is always a blooper... blunder.... something always happens! Usually I am the one that tries to come to the rescue and often do with my kit of tricks or just by simply talking and calming nerves....... Unfortunately I had to be rescued this round.... I laugh about it now but felt so very horrible for it happening! Ya see Toronto City Hall has private elevators for the ceremonies.... well I jumped in pressed the button and went up.... wait hold on ok I'm going back down... what the heck... press again... go back up..... doors don't open and down I go again... what the BLEEP... I rode up and down about 6x.... and now I am late... LATE OMG I'M LATE.. extreme panic sets in.... and then Parker came to the rescue.... but still..... I've never been late ever..... my apologies again K&P..... ahh good ol' trusty elevators.... jk nothing wrong with it... it just decided it didn't want me there.
We laughed and I mean laughed most of the day..... had fun and enjoyed the beauty that surrounded us..... the couple went for a siesta and I took a break too..... then it was back for the reception... complete with a fabulous band and a whole lotta dancing!!!!! And check it out... the groom played the harmonica!!! Katy was perfect in both beautiful dresses...... and sweeeeeet coral shoes not to mention so lovely in every way!!! You are a wonderful couple and it was a pleasure to be a part of your day!!! Thank you!
